should we be happy or scared?
The weather is blissfully nice (not unlike the orange gerbers pictured in the ikebana, Japanese flower arrangement) these days...so much so that it makes me somewhat suspicious. Like the phrase, "too good to be true" - if something seems to good to be true, there is some major catch waiting down the line in store for the unsuspecting victim(s). Nice weather or indication of the greenhouse effect? Hmm...This bout of spring-like weather will continue far into next week, bringing highs up to around 10-15 degrees Celsius...or for you Americans out there, that is 50-60F. I used to hate the metric system, that is until I moved to Canada, subsequently Japan. The metric system is much more international and particularly precise for cooking/baking! No more worrying about levering off the flour on a cup a flour, just like the scale tell you how many grams!
