ME-SHELL's visit

My cousin Michelle (and honorary sister) came to Tsukuba for a visit over the 3-day weekend. She came all the way from Gifu prefecture...a small city named Kaizu where she is an English ALT (assistant language teacher) for a high school. I was glad to see her embrace Japanese culture from the get go and eat/see new things without hesitation. We had a lunch housewarming party as well as took a day trip: a drive up north to Kanasago to eat at my favorite soba noodle shop + bath in hot springs, followed by a short trek around Fukuroda Falls.
