flowers, flowers, flowers!

The rainy season is here! (it lasts until the middle of July, I believe...but I am praying for good weather for Tomoko's wedding on the 24th) Although it is only natural to feel gloomy, I feel upbeat and full of hope. Everywhere I turn I see あじさい, ajisai, hydrangea flowers blooming and in full bloom! It is great...there are all kinds of them: pink, lavender, green, all shades of blue, and more. The nice thing about hydrangeas is that they look different from the moment they start to open to until they start to die.

ps: the flowers in the middle are not hydrangea, just some random flowers I felt particularly shutterbuggy about.
