PAELLA

Thanks to Mayumi for inspiring us to make Paella! We made it last weekend. PAELLA turns our really well with Japanese rice, in case you wanted to know. I think Japanese restaurants add a lot of turmeric powder to their paella to give it an almost fluorescent yellow glow. We added real threads of saffron but the color was overwhelmed by all the other ingredients. Next time I will throw in some yellow turmeric!
