one week later...

This are pictures - living and dining, respectively, of our new place! Although black is easier to care for, we chose neutral beige hues to blend in with the light wooden flooring. It is a different feeling from my former 'college-student-like' lifestyle. Real furniture at last.

As for moving - it took a whole day from morning to night. Hiro predicted we might need a rental van and boy was he right. Our two refrigerators were the heaviest items of all. It made me wish I only had a bar fridge. ^_^

Who knew singles could accumulate SO much stuff...and for the most part, all of it junk! We both threw away quite a lot but know that there is much more to toss in months to come. Bottom line: if you don't use it, toss it!
