Rice cracker mania, spring style!

This is the spring version of some rice crackers from Kyoto, given to me by Hirotsugu's mother. This is her fave おせんべい maker, purveyor of fine rice crackers using unique ingredients...black pepper bits, salted sakura (cherry blossom) leaves, shrimp, and so on. They are a very savory treat, even better when paired with beer.

Some of my students were fortunate to try some...however, it soon ran out so not everyone could try it. ":(
