Spring has sprung!!!

Spring is officially here - the first cherry blossoms have bloomed. For about one week Japan will be covered in pink from head to toe. After that pink will turn into green buds and before you know it, summer!

This is a beautiful picture of a bird in some Tokyo park. I did not take it but found it so breathtaking I had to put it in my blog! I have often seen such yellow-green birds. It reminds me of my childhood days as an amateur ornithologist!
