still learning from dad

I had not seen my father for about two years so it was great to see him in person again! He often tries to arm me with skills and different ways of survival thinking, something perhaps his own parents did not stress enough. As great as I think grandpa and grandma Lee was and is, they perhaps focused too much on education and books...not unlike the typical Japanese sense. Some common sense and life skills were overlooked, leading to a life of much trial-and-error.

Here is the latest quote from my dad:
1) Stupid people never learn from their mistakes.
2) Smart people learn from their own mistakes.
3) Wise people learn from other people's mistakes.
