it should not come as a surprise

Hmm, perhaps someone has gone under the knife. This is strictly my opinion because these two photos look so different. (read: you can't sue me for my opinion)

People are often shocked to find out that their favorite star has undergone some kind of plastic surgery. I am often surprised that they are so surprised! It is only natural for famous stars to do it. If they don't, they get left behind and other better-looking starlets surpass them in popularity. It is necessary to stay ahead of the game and get surgery - kind of a means of survival. (though you will notice that many actors can survive without looking particularly handsome...what a strange double-standard that is!)

This star is Misaki Ito - like Aya Ueto, she is on advertisements EVERYWHERE you go! I think she is a very talented actress and have recently seen her performance in the TV drama series, Densha Otoko (Train Man). I also saw her perform as a totally different character in the TV drama, Lunch no Joou (Queen of Lunchtime). It was interesting for me to see the contrast in character but just goes to show that she is quite talented.

I have no space to post all the photos of other starlets with very different 'before' pics - the more obvious photos being Ayumi Hamasaki, Nanako Matsushima, and so on. There are even plenty of photos of Hollywood actresses on this website - the big shocker being Nicole Kidman.

So the bottom line is not to strive to look like famous people, because even they needed help to become what they look like today. You may get older and wrinkly but your personality doesn't need to - that is the beauty of life...our personalities can improve even if our wrinkles don't, hee hee hee.
