Ugh, the greed disgusts me!

TOKYO — Japan Airlines Corp will raise both domestic and international air fares next April despite recent falls in crude oil prices, JAL President Haruka Nishimatsu said Tuesday. (pictured is a JAL logo from the 70's)

For those of you unfamiliar with Japanese airlines, you might know JAL (Japanese airlines), the former leader in its field. Last year it went into the red due to a series of safety bloopers and even some pilot error. Just last week its competitor, ANA airlines, announced a cut in airfare due to the recent wane in oil prices. Today JAL announced a raise in airfare? Sou-kai?! If there is anything improving about JAL, its they way they are driving away customers! If given the choice, I would rather use ANA or some minor carrier.

Though, it might be said that asian airlines are HANDS DOWN better in customer service! Though Lufthansa was not so bad...United, on the other hand, was an utter nightmare.
