Chiyoda Cup

Again I was a judge for another speech contest, this time last Saturday at the Chiyoda Cup competition. It was slated to be held at Sophia University but at the last minute, the venue was not available and the students had to rush around to secure rooms in Meiji University, the main building.

This is the cool chair I was mentioning...you do not pull the flap down, rather you just push it down as you sit and glide right into the seat, like magic! Apparently these chairs are the norm here in Japan - I wonder why my university never had such great seat technology!
